FCC Awards Banquet for 2012

Hello Fellow Club Members,

Saturday March 2nd the 2012 Awards Banquet was held at Ruggeros Restaurant.

Many members attended and a good time was had by all.

Dave Fulks gave his final report for points, I will post full detail results later.

Reciepents in Non-Competition were

Mary Hall was 5th with 210

Elane Moore was 4th with 225

Gary Drago was 3rd with 230

Jim Jones was 2nd with 270

Donna Janos was 1st with 315.

Reciepents in Competition were

Bob Graves was 2nd place with 18

Bob Hall was 1st place with 166

Dave Fulks expained the history of the Fickel Finger of Fate Award and the past winners dating back to 1972.

Dave is missing recipients for 1988, 89, 90, 91, 95, 96 and 97. If anyone remembers who was awarded and the details for the missing years, please contact Dave or me so we can fill in the blanks. All results will be put up in our history section. you can call or send us an email.

Danny Kellermeyer discussed the Ray Meesseman Commitment and Dedication Award. 2011 reciepent Donna
Janos discussed the award and passed it on to Mary Hall for 2012, a great pick, she does a lot for our club.

This year A Special Appreciation Award was given to Danny and Michelle Kellermeyer. Their hospitality and hostings of the Daytona parties, inviting all to their home, race car displays @ the Corvette Reunion, FCC car show, events @ Waterford just to name a few and the list goes on and on. Danny explained thats its the Family of Corvette people that drives he and Michelle

I want to thank Barb Harris and her assistants, Pat and Dave Fulks, Mary & Bob Hall,
Elane Moore and Ann Snyder for the room setup and Door prize program.

Mike Lysher did another great job on the awards, we are fortunate to have him.

Lastly Stu Moore is sporting his new Goatee, he looks great.

Well folks that about wraps up the evening.

Have a great end to the winter season and I know we all are looking forward to Spring and the warm weather.
