Calhoun County Corvettes (CCC) held five car shows on August 8th at Marshall, MI. This was their second year for this unique show that attracted forty one entrants.
Irish Hills Corvette Club (IHCC) held seven low speed events on August 9th at the Tire Rack test track in South Bend, IN. It was the second day of a fourteen event weekend and was well attended with forty six drivers. Overall men’s FTD was Bruce Wentzel with a 22.935 and overall women’s FTD was Mary Wentzel with a 24.387.
The NCCC National Convention was held August 22nd thru the 27th at the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA. It’s too early for numbers but I can tell you it was well attended and despite some minor organizational problems I believe those who attended had a fun week. Next year’s convention will be in Nebraska.
Lakeshore Corvette Club (LCC) held three rallies on August 29th in Holland, MI. Despite a persistent rain for most of the day fifteen cars attended. It was a leisurely drive with no clues. Rallies were a poker and two games.
Our speed events are fast approaching and we need volunteers for our Sunday October 4th date at Michigan International Raceway and also out rallies on Saturday October 10th in Davison. Please speak up at our September club meeting.

September 19th Kalamazoo Corvette Club will be hosting four rallies in Mattawan, MI.
